As you probably know from my previous post on blogger gift ideas , I attended The Hive European Blogging Conference this past weekend. Being my first blogging conference ever, my emotions were a fair mix of excitement, apprehension and high expectations! Thankfully The Hive did not disappoint.
I met some lovely, inspiring bloggers and I've come back armed with fantastic ideas for future posts and tips on how to make The Orange Gift Bag better. And of course some gifts and goodies; no blogging conference is complete without that!
Among the gifts we got, my favourite is the grey Silent Vase by Muuto . I love that it's completely handmade. And when I first saw it, I was struck by how simple yet elegant it was. And it turns out that's exactly what the designer, Andreas Engesvik had in mind. He says, " Silent is about reducing a vase to it's most simple expression. The serene design gives you a timeless vase ." The Silent Vase is part of Muuto's New Nordic home decor collection. My daughter helped pick out the flowers to put in the vase...looks lovely, don't you think?
