Do you like the colour purple? I’ve never been a big fan of purple, mainly deep purple. It makes me think of aubergines and they are one of my least favourite veggies! But Lil D (my 4-year old daughter) is slowly changing that. Lil D’s a big champion of pink (no surprises there) and purple. So I thought, maybe it’s time to give purple another chance.
And that’s how this all-purple gift wrapping idea came to be. Instead of sticking to a single shade of purple, I chose three different shades of purple – two dark and one light. I like how they offer a striking contrast, while also complementing each other. I’m so pleased with how this all-purple gift wrapping idea turned out that I’m thinking of doing a whole gift wrapping series with each post focussing on one colour and its various shades.
